Este programa reúne a nueve videoartistas letones propuestos por Sandra Kempele, Directora del Latvian Video Art Archiven. El Arts Center NOASS, con sede en Riga, Letonia, tiene como objetivo apoyar y promover el arte contemporáneo letón a partir del establecimiento de este proyecto desde hace más de 25 años. Desde 2001, NOASS acoge el festival Waterpieces, una plataforma para el arte contemporáneo y el videoarte. El archivo de videoarte letón cubre el toda la historia del videoarte letón desde finales 1980 hasta la actualidad. Con el apoyo del Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Letonia.
This program brings together nine Latvian video artists proposed by Sandra Kempele, Director of Latvian Video Art Archiven. The Arts Center NOASS based in Riga, Latvia aims to support and promote Latvian contemporary art since the project’s establishment more than 20 years ago. Since 2001, NOASS hosts Waterpieces festival, a platform for contemporary art and video works, partner festival programme screening and competitions. The Latvian Video Art Archive covers the entire history of Latvian video art from the late 1980s to the present day. Supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
